Q: The owner of a view is leaving their position and needs to transfer ownership to another employee. Can this be accomplished?

Q: I have access to our tables, but I can't run queries on them. I get the message “permission denied for relation pardotvisitoractivity”. What’s going on?

A: By default, only the owner of the user-created schema can read from that schema. The owner needs to explicitly grant privileges to other users so they can read from this schema.

This commonly occurs when users are trying to set up looker connections and are creating the looker_scratch schema.
