Panoply’s smart data warehouse platform seamlessly connects with leading data management, data integration, and BI partners so you can easily and quickly add and combine all your data sources and connect it to any business intelligence tool to help visualize this data - all in one place, seamlessly.
To analyze your data, Panoply integrates with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as:
- Google Data Studio
- Jupyter iPython Notebook
- Mode Analytics
- Power BI
- RStudio and Shiny
Any BI data visualization tool that supports ODBC, JDBC, Postgres, or AWS Redshift can connect to Panoply. The credentials needed to connect to Panoply are available by clicking BI Connection in the nav. This will display a window similar to the following image.
After data has been loaded into a Panoply data warehouse, you have the flexibility to connect to and analyze that data from a variety of external tools. Any tool that supports an Amazon Redshift or Postgres ODBC or JDBC connection can successfully link with Panoply. This includes business intelligence and dashboarding tools, query workbenches, and even coding languages like Python or R. To find the details needed to link to Panoply, simply navigate to the Connect section of the user interface.
For demonstration purposes, I’m going to connect to Panoply from a popular business intelligence tool called Chartio. After navigating to the Data Sources screen, I click the Add Data Source button and select Panoply from the menu. I then input the details from the Connect screen in Panoply. Now all I have to do is click Connect and start working with my data.
