Editor’s note: This Adverity review is based on my hands-on test of Adverity Connect, release 2026.44, in October 2026. I weighed pricing and unique-row accounting alongside collection, preparation, delivery, AI, and security.
Quick verdict: I recommend Adverity for agencies and enterprise marketing teams that need harmonized, monitored ad, analytics, and ecommerce data from dozens of accounts in Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or a BI tool. The trade-off: custom pricing, a $200,000 annual marketplace list price, and 30 to 60 days of onboarding.
My strongest reason to shortlist Connect is its combination of 600+ connectors and four automatic quality monitors. Universal Connect handles REST APIs, while 15-minute fetch scheduling and 40+ destinations extend collection and delivery.
In this Adverity review, I’ll take a closer look at Adverity’s pricing, features, and setup, so you can see exactly whether its managed marketing ETL package justifies the commitment.
Key Takeaways
- No free trial or free plan: Website pricing is quote-only; AWS and Azure list $200,000 per year.
- Unique rows drive usage: Adverity counts them per datastream per month, including changed rows.
- 600+ connectors: Fetches run as often as every 15 minutes, but each platform’s API limits backfill.
- Two current products: Data and Intelligence merged into Connect in May 2026. Atlas launched in July and works without Connect.
- Enterprise security: ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type 2 certified, with EU or US hosting. SSO requires account-manager activation.

How Much Does Adverity Cost?
Adverity publishes no plans or prices on its website and sells through custom quotes after a demo. AWS Marketplace lists one Adverity Data Connectors base-platform contract at $200,000 per 12 months.
AWS Marketplace entitlements cover a specified quantity of use for the contract duration. Access to those entitlements expires if you do not renew or replace the contract before it ends.
Azure Marketplace lists the flat-rate Adverity Standard plan at $200,000 for one year, $400,000 for two years, or $600,000 for three years. All terms bill $200,000 annually, with no multi-year discount; Adverity offers neither a free trial nor a free plan.
- Base platform: The contract includes an allowance of data connectors, linked ad accounts, and data volume, sized to your agreement.
- Refresh frequency: Fetch frequency is not billed separately, although additional new or changed data contributes to volume.
- Overage: Unique rows above your allowance may incur additional usage fees “as defined in your plan.” Rates are not published.
- Add-ons: Prices for the optional Dashboards add-on and separate Atlas product are not published.
- Marketplace payment: AWS contracts appear on your AWS bill and are non-refundable. Azure private offers go through Adverity’s partner team.
| Channel | Listed price | Term | Free trial |
|---|---|---|---|
| adverity.com | Custom quote after demo | Negotiated | No |
| AWS Marketplace | $200,000 | 12 months | No |
| Azure Marketplace | $200,000 / $400,000 / $600,000 | 1 / 2 / 3 years, billed $200,000 yearly | No |
| Google Cloud Marketplace | Refers to Google Cloud price list; no amount published | Not published | No |
How Adverity Counts Unique Data Rows
Adverity counts unique data rows per datastream per month. Newly fetched rows increase usage, while re-fetching unchanged rows for a month already fetched adds nothing.
A row with any changed value counts again. Changing a datastream configuration, such as adding fields, makes every subsequently fetched row count as new, even when its values are unchanged.
After a configuration change, check the Usage Manager page for purchased versus used unique data rows.
Is Adverity Good Value for Money?
- Improvado: Starter begins at $20,000 annually for 20M rows a year, one-tenth of Adverity’s marketplace list price.
- Funnel: Business starts at EUR 560 monthly, billed annually, with 579 connectors and unlimited users.
- Supermetrics: Growth starts at EUR 159 monthly, billed yearly, for seven data sources.
- Fivetran: Usage-based billing measures monthly active rows per connection, with a free plan available.
I recommend Adverity at this price only when harmonization and monitoring replace substantial in-house pipeline work. For small teams buying primarily connector access, I favor the lower-priced alternatives above.
Reviewer’s Notes: Request an Adverity pricing quote sized to your actual connector count, ad accounts, and monthly unique rows. Ask whether Dashboards, SSO, and multi-warehouse are included in the contract, and request private-offer terms from Adverity’s partner team. Price Funnel or Supermetrics first when connector access matters more than shared definitions and monitoring.
My Experience With Adverity
I started with the datastream configuration because adding fields later changes row accounting. Adverity’s wizard follows the same sequence across connectors, but each connector exposes its own configuration options.
Creating My First Datastream
I opened Datastreams > + Create datastream and worked through the setup:
- Type: I searched for and selected the data platform.
- Authorization: I used my own credentials. Adverity also offered the option to request authorization from someone else.
- Template: I selected Custom configuration rather than a connector-specific template.
- Configuration: I set the fields, entities, and filters for collection.
- Destinations: I assigned where the datastream should load.
- Initial fetch: I chose the time period to collect.
I prefer this consistent wizard for multi-account setups because authorization and destination assignment remain separate decisions. Requesting another person’s authorization also gives agencies a route that does not require collecting a client’s credentials directly.
Scheduling Fetches and Backfilling History
I opened the datastream’s Fetch section and switched on Scheduling. The default Smart Schedule paired a daily refresh of the last three days with a weekly refresh of the last 40 days, scheduled randomly between 00:00 and 04:00 UTC.
Adverity supports up to four independent ranges per datastream. Custom scheduling provides precise times, with fetches available as often as every 15 minutes; file and datalake connectors instead default to a daily fetch of the previous day.
I used Fetch now and selected a date range for backfilling. Manual fetches offered these split options:
- Days: Divide the selected period into daily requests.
- Weeks: Fetch history in weekly segments.
- Months: Separate the range by month.
- Quarters: Use quarterly segments for longer periods.
Splitting increases API calls, and Adverity cannot extend a platform’s history limit. I favor setting the Initial fetch period around the required report’s history window, especially when demographic or reach metrics have tighter restrictions than other reports.
Adding a Transformation and a Destination
I selected a standard transformation under Type, assigned datastreams through Assignments, completed Configuration, and named it. Adverity runs that transformation on every fetch of its assigned datastreams.
Transformation Copilot provides a separate route from a plain-language request to a custom script. I assigned a warehouse destination; Adverity also supports loading one datastream into several destinations simultaneously.
Reviewer’s Notes: Plan history collection before the Initial fetch, especially for Amazon Advertising with its 60-day limit. Finalize your datastream fields before a large backfill: changing the configuration makes subsequently fetched rows count as new unique rows, including previously collected history.
Connectors, Fetches and Backfill
Adverity’s 600+ pre-built connectors span 24+ source categories and exceed Funnel Business’s 579 connectors. I rate that breadth more highly for a multi-brand agency than for a team whose requirements fit Supermetrics Growth’s seven data sources.
Adverity connects ad platforms such as Amazon Advertising and Facebook Ads with analytics platforms such as GA4. Its coverage also extends to ecommerce and CRM data, with files collected over SFTP or from cloud storage outside platform-specific integrations.
Universal Connect extends collection to REST APIs with six authentication methods and common pagination patterns. SFTP and cloud storage ingestion provide additional routes; I prioritize the required report and fields over the headline connector count.
- Manual fetches: Use Fetch now with a selected date range, including historical collection.
- Smart fetches: Let Adverity optimize timing around API rate limits, attribution windows, and dependencies.
- Custom fetches: Choose precise recurring times or a one-time scheduled fetch.
Custom schedules support 15-minute fetch intervals, with custom intervals also available through the API. I favor Smart Schedule for attribution-window refreshes and Custom for a precise reporting timetable.
| Platform | Historical limit | Additional restriction |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Advertising | 60 days | 95 days for Sponsored Television |
| Facebook Ads | 37 months | 13 months for reach with breakdowns |
| LinkedIn Ads | 10 years | Demographic pivots: 25 months; maximum 25 months per fetch |
| Reddit Ads | 24 months | No additional restriction stated |
| Criteo | 3 years | 100 days per request |
| Google Ads and GA4 | No stated limit | No additional restriction stated |
| Twitter Ads | No stated historical limit | 90 days per request on some endpoints |
I recommend planning backfill at the report level: Facebook Ads reach metrics with breakdowns cannot use the full 37-month window. Criteo’s three-year history requires requests within its 100-day request limit.
LinkedIn Ads also separates historical depth from request size: its 10-year window still carries a 25-month maximum per fetch. Twitter Ads limits some endpoints to 90 days per request.
Adverity maintains its connectors and ships weekly updates, with Release 2026.44 covering the week of October 26, 2026. Recent releases added a ChatGPT Ads Conversions report and a Facebook Ads 1-day engaged-view attribution window; API history restrictions still apply.
Transformations, Data Mapping and Quality Monitors
Adverity includes seven standard transformations, so I do not consider Python a prerequisite for routine preparation:
- Create or Edit Columns
- Currency Conversion
- Join Datastream
- Match & Map
- Smart Naming Convention
- Translation
- Unify Location Data
Custom scripts offer 80+ Python-based functions using single-line Python 3 expressions, with column names in curly brackets. Custom script transformations accept those expressions in an “instructions” field.
Transformation Copilot converts plain-language requests into scripts; I recommend reviewing generated logic before assigning it to recurring fetches.
For warehouse-side modeling, the dbt Projects page runs and schedules dbt Core jobs, retaining run history and logs, with notification topics available. Supported warehouses include:
- Snowflake
- BigQuery
- PostgreSQL
- Databricks
I place more value on Adverity’s shared field definitions than on its transformation count.
- Data Mapping: Applies consistent definitions to fields such as cost and revenue across platforms.
- Data Dictionary: Maintains the instance-wide field registry.
- Calculated KPIs: Derives composite metrics.
- Mapping tables: Hold reusable value mappings.
- Currency conversion: Aligns monetary reporting across currencies.
Data Quality Monitors
Adverity runs four universal monitors on every fetch by default: duplication, volume, timeliness, and column consistency.
Duplication and volume raise warnings by default, with an option to switch them to errors per datastream.
| Custom rule type | What it checks |
|---|---|
| Empty values | Missing field values |
| Value lists | Values against specified lists |
| Field combinations | Relationships between fields |
| Date formats | Date formatting |
| Conditional logic | Conditions defined for the data |
Monitor settings apply globally, in bulk, or per datastream. Duplication checks can inspect all columns, selected columns, or everything except selected columns.
Adverity delivers alerts through email, Slack, or Microsoft Teams, either immediately or as daily or weekly digests.
I consider these monitors a stronger purchasing reason than connector count alone, especially for finance-facing spend reports. Against lighter connector tools such as Supermetrics or Windsor.ai, I favor Adverity when recurring quality checks, rather than connector access alone, drive the purchase.
Reviewer’s Notes: Switch duplication and volume checks to errors on spend datastreams feeding finance reports. Keep warnings on lower-stakes datastreams where an anomaly needs attention without the same error-level treatment.
Destinations, Dashboards and the AI Layer
One Adverity datastream can feed several of 40+ destinations simultaneously. I favor this setup when warehouse analysis and client reporting need the same prepared data.
- Warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift, Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Firebolt, and SQL Server.
- Storage: Amazon S3, Azure Blob, and Google Cloud Storage.
- BI: Looker Studio, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and Domo.
- Files: Google Sheets and Excel.
- Activation: Facebook, Google Ads, and LinkedIn audience destinations.
Adverity can also host data in its own warehouse. The optional Dashboards add-on provides:
- Explore: 17 visualization types.
- Present: Multi-page layouts and scheduled exports in PNG, JPG, PDF, PPTX, and XLSX formats.
- Ask Your Dashboards: Natural-language queries, with only column names and metadata sent to the model.
- AI Insights: Four modes covering summaries, changes, anomalies, and recommended actions.
Connect Agent and the MCP Server
Connect Agent uses your permissions in the current workspace and its children, and requires approval before applying changes. It cannot work with dashboards or widgets, and contracts prohibiting AI processing disable it.
I favor Connect Agent for controlled configuration changes, not dashboard work. The MCP server authenticates with a Management API key and supports Claude and ChatGPT.
Its coverage includes:
- Datastreams, authorizations, and fetches
- Transformations, mapping tables, and destinations
- Users, notifications, and monitors
The Management API has an OpenAPI specification. Only a root-workspace Administrator can generate its keys.
Adverity Atlas
Atlas launched July 7, 2026 as a read-only knowledge layer for Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, or Redshift. It does not require Connect.
- Glossary: 40+ canonical marketing concepts.
- Context: Business information such as promotions, budget changes, files, and PDFs.
- Agents: Chat, anomaly detection, budget pacing, and forecasting.
Atlas answers carry citations to the underlying query. PII redaction happens before AI processing, and only query results go to the model.
I recommend evaluating Atlas separately from Connect because it works without the ETL platform and has no published price.
Security, Workspaces and Support
Adverity is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type 2 certified, with annual ISO certification by TUV Austria. It supports GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, and DORA requirements, and is prepared to sign a HIPAA BAA.
Data hosting is available in the EU or US. Availability is above 99.9%, but Adverity publishes no public SLA.
- SSO: SAML v2 supports Azure AD and Google Workspace; it is off by default and requires account-manager activation.
- MFA: TOTP authentication supports organization-wide enforcement.
- Workspaces: Nesting has no stated depth limit; sibling workspaces are isolated by default.
- Multi-warehouse: Separate workspace warehouses require an account-manager request.
- Permissions: Roles range from Administrator to Viewer, with custom roles available.
- Activity trail: Covers logins, entity changes, dashboard access, and data downloads.
- AI privacy: Customer data is not used to train AI models.
- Security testing: Annual penetration tests and a HackerOne bug bounty.
I recommend including SSO and multi-warehouse requirements in contract discussions alongside Adverity’s support package:
- Dedicated account manager: Assigned to every customer.
- Onboarding: Takes 30 to 60 days.
- Tickets: Available through email and in-app chat.
- Adverity Academy: Self-paced training and certifications.
Support response times are not published. Request response-time commitments and contractual availability terms from the account manager.
How Does Adverity Compare to Competitors?
I recommend Adverity for governed marketing ETL across many brands and accounts, not as the default purchase for every reporting team. Its $200,000 marketplace list price makes these Adverity alternatives worth pricing first.
-
Supermetrics: Starter begins at EUR 39 monthly for two data sources; Growth starts at EUR 159 monthly for seven, both billed yearly. Enterprise is quote-based and includes data warehousing. I favor Supermetrics first when your platform count fits those allowances and connector budget takes priority.
-
Funnel: Starter starts at EUR 280 monthly, billed annually, with 117 connectors. Business starts at EUR 560 monthly, billed annually, with 579 connectors and unlimited users; Enterprise is custom-priced. For an Adverity vs Funnel shortlist, I favor Funnel’s published pricing as the starting point for a mid-market budget.
-
Improvado: Starter begins at $20,000 annually for 20M rows a year, and Growth starts at $41,700 annually. Shortlist Improvado when annual row-based purchasing fits your planning but Adverity’s marketplace price exceeds your budget. Its entry price is one-tenth of Adverity’s marketplace figure.
-
Fivetran: Billing is usage-based per connection on monthly active rows, with a free plan and a 14-day trial per connection. Shortlist Fivetran when marketing data is one slice of a wider ELT need rather than the entire integration workload.
-
Windsor.ai: A free plan includes one data source. Basic costs $19 monthly for three sources, and Plus costs $249 monthly for 10, both billed annually; the catalog spans 350+ sources. I favor Windsor.ai first for a small team whose main constraint is connector budget.
My Adverity vs Supermetrics decision starts with platform count and warehouse requirements: Supermetrics puts data warehousing on Enterprise. My Adverity vs Funnel decision centers on whether Adverity’s shared definitions and four default monitors justify its contract over Funnel Business’s published starting price.
| Criterion | Adverity | Funnel | Supermetrics | Improvado | Fivetran |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Entry price | Custom quote; $200,000/year marketplace list | From EUR 280/month, billed annually | From EUR 39/month, billed yearly | From $20,000/year | Usage-based |
| Free plan or trial | Neither | See vendor | See vendor | See vendor | Free plan; 14-day trial per connection |
| Billing basis | Contract allowances; unique rows | Plan | Plan and data source count | Annual plan and row allowance | Monthly active rows per connection |
| Data quality monitors | Four on every fetch by default | See vendor | See vendor | See vendor | See vendor |
| Best for | Governed enterprise marketing ETL | Mid-market pricing comparison | Small platform counts | Lower annual entry budget | Marketing data within wider ELT needs |
How I Reviewed Adverity
I worked through Adverity Connect release 2026.44, building datastreams and configuring fetch schedules and historical collection. I added transformations and monitors, assigned destinations, and tried Connect Agent. I used Fetch now to select a backfill date range and reviewed the options for splitting it.
- Pricing: I weighed contract allowances and unique-row accounting.
- Collection: I assessed connector coverage, refresh frequency, and historical limits.
- Preparation: I evaluated transformations, harmonization, and quality monitors.
- Delivery: I assessed warehouse destinations, Dashboards, and the AI layer.
- Operations: I weighed workspace isolation, security controls, onboarding, and support.
I compared Adverity against Funnel, Supermetrics, Improvado, Fivetran, and Windsor.ai using their published plans. I kept marketplace list prices separate from quotes and evaluated Atlas separately because it works without Connect and has no published price.
Prices current as of October 2026.
Should You Use Adverity for Your Marketing Data?
I recommend Adverity for agencies and enterprise marketing teams that need harmonized, monitored data across many accounts. Its strongest combination is maintained connectors plus shared field definitions and four quality monitors, with simultaneous delivery into warehouse and reporting environments.
I favor it for multi-brand operations that can justify the $200,000 annual marketplace list price by replacing substantial pipeline maintenance. Workspace isolation strengthens that recommendation, but SSO and separate workspace warehouses require account-manager involvement.
Skip Adverity if a free trial or transparent self-service pricing is essential. For smaller budgets, price Funnel or Supermetrics first; include Improvado for annual row-based plans and Windsor.ai for a small connector budget.
Finalize datastream fields before a large backfill because configuration changes make subsequent rows count as new. Plan historical collection around each report’s API restrictions; faster scheduling cannot extend Amazon Advertising’s standard 60-day window.
Count your required connectors, ad accounts, and monthly unique rows, then book an Adverity demo. Request a scoped quote and marketplace private-offer terms, with Dashboards and account-manager-enabled features addressed in the contract.
FAQs
How much does Adverity cost?
Adverity sells through custom quotes, while AWS and Azure Marketplace list $200,000 per year. Azure also offers two-year and three-year terms totaling $400,000 and $600,000, billed $200,000 annually.
Request connector allowances, ad-account allowances, and unique-row overage terms in your quote. See How Much Does Adverity Cost? above for the usage calculation.
Does Adverity have a free trial?
Adverity has no free trial and no free plan. It sells through a demo and a custom quote, with onboarding taking 30 to 60 days.
I favor Fivetran for a shortlist requiring trial access: it offers a free plan and a 14-day trial per connection, unlike Adverity’s demo-led purchasing route.
What happened to Adverity Intelligence?
Adverity Intelligence and Adverity Data merged into Adverity Connect in May 2026, bringing everything from both products into Connect. Atlas launched separately on July 7, 2026 and works without Connect.
I favor assessing the optional Connect Dashboards add-on for in-platform visualization and Atlas for a read-only knowledge layer over an existing warehouse.
What destinations does Adverity support?
Adverity supports 40+ destinations, with simultaneous delivery from one datastream. Warehouse options include Snowflake and BigQuery; BI options include Power BI and Tableau.
Cloud storage, files, and advertising audience destinations are also supported. I favor matching those delivery requirements against Destinations, Dashboards and the AI Layer above before adding visualization inside Connect.
Is Adverity secure?
Adverity is ISO 27001 certified and SOC 2 Type 2 certified, with EU or US hosting and organization-wide MFA enforcement. SAML v2 SSO requires account-manager activation, and customer data is not used to train AI models.
I recommend settling hosting location, SSO activation, and contractual availability commitments during procurement; no public SLA is published.
