Does Panoply.io support real-time data ingestion and queries?
Yes, you can use one of Panoply.io’s SDKs to send data in real time and every query that you will run over the data warehouse will be calculated based on the most updated data there.
My data source run failed. What should I do?
If the error that caused the data source to fail is a retriable error, then Panoply.io will retry to run it again within an hour (up to 3 retries). You can always check the Jobs screen to see the status of current and past data sources runs. If one of them failed it will be marked as error.

When I first log in, what kind of performance should I be expecting?
Panoply.io is a self-optimizing analytics infrastructure, as you initially ingest your data the platform has no knowledge of your specific analytical needs. The initial performance you would receive would be that of an unoptimized AWS Redshift cluster. You are encouraged to analyze the data as soon as possible with your initial integration, as the platform learns your business logic it will rebuild your schema in an agile way to enhance performance.
Initial performance optimization will occur within 3 days of initial analysis and within 2 weeks the schema should be optimized towards optimal performance. If the performance you are receiving is less than expected please make sure to contact your account’s data architect or, if one has not been appointed to you contact Panoply.io via the bottom right chat box or set up a demo.
I have some questions about specific features, who should I contact?
Each account has a dedicated data architect, if you do know know who your data architect is it might be because you are still in trial or have not set up a demo. If you do not know the contact information of your data architect, contact Panoply.io via the bottom right chat box or set up a demo.
How much would it cost if I would ask Panoply to build me an integration to a data source?
Panoply.io’s integration dashboard is an open source framework therefore you can build data connectors by yourself at no cost. In the case that you would need a specific data source Panoply.io will build the data source at no extra cost upon signing of the order form. In the case where a data source would be needed to evaluate the platform Panoply.io can build the data source for a one time fixed fee per data source. For Pricing of customary data sources during the evaluation period please contact Panoply.io via the bottom right chat box or set up a demo.
Can The Data Architect help me with archiving data or performance enhancement?
Yes. Panoply self-optimizes itself towards your needs by learning your specific business logic. As new data sets are integrated, data is augmented or new business logic is introduced, Panoply may take some time to optimize towards the new functions. If you need enhancements of these processes a data architect can help expedite them inside the platform.
